Cursor 3: The Agent-First Release
Cursor 3 went GA on April 2, 2026, repositioning Cursor as "a coding agent for building ambitious software." The current release is Cursor 3.10 (June 30, 2026). The centerpiece is the Agents Window — open it via Command Palette → "Open Agents Window".
What the Agents Window Gives You
- Parallel agents across multiple workspaces — frontend, backend, and infra agents running side by side
- Worktree isolation: each agent works in its own Git checkout, so parallel edits never collide
- Diffs view & PR management: review every agent's changes and drive PRs from creation to merge
- Local ↔ cloud handoff: start locally, push to the cloud when you close your laptop — and pull it back later
- Cloud subagents:
/in-cloud spawns helpers in the cloud; /babysit shepherds a PR through CI
